JC and Paul's Last Stand
'Get out of here' he growled, wincing in pain as he steadied his hand on the assault rifle that he kept concealed under his large black coat. His strange unearthly blue eyes glared angrily at his brother as he tried to shove him towards the open window. 'Ill hold them off, just go!'
His brother didn't respond, just stared back at him, his heavy GEP gun held steady in his hands. He never listened when he was younger, Paul knew it was pointless. But this was life or death, he was going to throw him out of the window if he had to.
The two brothers looked so alike now, and there they were ready to fight back to fight against all odds.
The front door exploded in a blinding burst of light and sound and thick smoke bellowed in blocking the view out of the room. Paul fell to his knee from his chair, his automatic aimed at the doorway trying to get his laser sight locked on the first intruder.
JC slowly moved to the corner of the room out of sight in the shadows. 'Sneaky bastard' growled Paul, he couldn't even see his brother concealed in the shadows. Always the shadowy approach, he just wished he would listen to him for once and make a break for the coptor waiting in battery park. At least then one of them would have a chance.
'Watch out, we may be dealing with androids'. The voice was metallic and distinctly non human. The pale skinned man ran into the room dressed all in black, his gun aimed at Paul's head. But he was too slow, and Paul's automatic roared into the man's cranium tearing it apart. Thus began the symphony of gunfire as the man in black fell to the floor and exploded in a ball of blue fire.
Three more men in black stormed in with a UNATCO troopers all firing madly at Paul. Paul fought bravely as the bullets cut into his armour and his skin but he was obviously overwhelmed.
The intruders never knew what hit them.
There they were ready to take out their target and then suddenly a distinct loud BLEEPING sound could be heard beneath the gunfire. 'Watch ou' was all one of the mysterous men could yell but it was too late. The rocket screamed at them from somewhere in the shadows and hit him right in the chest exploding brilliantly tearing him and the trooper into pieces.
The other two cloaked men seemed seriously hurt and in anger turned their attention into the shadows letting their bullets loose wildly into it.
'He won't be able to reload in time' moaned Paul and with deadly accuracy let loose a torrent of bullets into the back of the men who after the rocket couldn't take much more.
JC steadied his GEP gun on the men and watched his brother nail them in the back of the head. He grinned to himself.. yeah well so what, big brother always used to save my ass, why not now! He pulled out his stealth pistol and ran over the bodies out of the room.
'Whats he doing now'' moaned Paul. There was probably an army of troopers in the lobby, he would never make it out alone. He pulled himself slowly up from his chair and followed his brother out. Ah well, lets just die fighting eh, damn it JC.

The UNATCO trooper looked through his sniper rifle at the stairway. He wasn't too alert though. 'That attack force will tear him apart in his room, man I wish I could just go home' he thought to himself. 'I wonder what Ill have for dinner tonight.. maybe Ill check out that new Hawaiian joint on...'
Suddenly a figure dressed in a long black coat appeared briefly in his sight and disappeared behind the stair wall. 'What the heck' said the trooper beneath his breath. 'That couldn't have been Paul?'
Well, considering he had been right, it was unfortunate that he didnt realise he had five seconds to live. A second man dressed in a long black cloak appeared in his view sight with an automatic aimed in his direction. Blackness.
The two brothers tore into the troopers like a knife through butter. Paul ran down the stairs, his guns blaring at them while JC briefly took cover behind the wall and took his time to throw an EMP grenade down into the lobby which exploded and took out a few lives with it.
And then there they were, brothers side by side shooting left right and centre. one with an automatic, the other with a stealth pistol. And one minute later the hotel lobby was a graveyard. And they both stood at the hotel entrance leaving a trail of carnage behind them.
It was time for them to part ways, but for that one moment in time the two men had fought together as one showing the world what brotherhood was all about.
